Hi Han. Thanks for this new feature which is a great idea. I have an OCS (ZWO 533) which records RAW files in fits with a bayer filter. Should I use SQM function on raw files or after debayering ? Best regards, Soulearth

Hello, Thank you for your reply. I am not using astap with sharpcap. I have a manual dobsonian mount. I know it's not the most common and the easiest :) I use astap to identify objects when I have a doubt or to orient myself in the sky. Giving an range in the field of view would make it possible to resolve more quickly than in auto while having a range a little more flexible than a fixed field of view. Best regards

Hi, Depending on the focal reducer I use ( and the number of extensions tube ), my field of view varies between 0.4° and 0.6°. It might be very useful to be able to specify an interval (range) for search. In my example search betwen 0.4 ° and 0.6 °. Best regards,

I will test a little more, but I feel like the problem is solved. Thank you very much for your help, your software and your responsiveness.
