Okay. Thanks for the feedback. Kodi has worked fine for me with the naming convention for the 588 episodes I have but I have been using TV Rename and then scraping using MC which also works fine with that naming structure. This is the first time I have started to use MC for rename so I figured I was making an error somehow. I will adjust the name for the ones I can't rename using TVR. thanks again.

No, I actually want it like this. Original File name: The Rookie S01E01.mkv What I want the file Renamed to: The Rookie - 101 - Pilot - S01E01.mkv The show scrapes fine, the issue is renaming to fit format above. I have tried a few ways but can't get it to work. I attached the screen shot of the Renaming Mask I tried last. I obviously don't understand how to put the input mask correctly. thanks for any help

So I have an issue with the rename as well. KODI listed somewhere that S01E01 format at the end of name was necessary for reliable results. In TV Rename I have been doing that, but prefer to use MC. I entered the following line in the REGEX tab under rename but it errors when I try to use it and then renames incorrectly when I click continue.
