Actually Peace offers what Equalizer APO does not, although supporting it. But both are needed. The release of Equalizer APO was a moment when a new horizon of computer audio opened. The process of installation should go like this, especially when using a now recent (new) system such as Windows 11: Install Equalizer APO latest version https://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/files/ (correct bit version x64 or x84 – 32 bit depending on your system) on a default output device and whichever other device you want, also for a microphone, if you want to change EQ of it too. Are you actually using Peace Equalizer? In regard to solving issues of Equalizer APO I can only refer to this: https://sourceforge.net/projects/config-editor-bug-remover/, and to using Peace, because 1. I find it more logical to use it along with Eq APO, and 2. It has got its ways to tell the user when something is wrong (APO not being installed). On its main interface you can then click the button "D" (as for devices), which opens the configurator. And in case the equalizer does not work even though...

Peter hasn't heard my setup yet, so he doesn't know what magic can be created with the proper parts and tools for it, right? : ) However, he has got high quality headphones, so at least that.
