Hey gho, I have tried the keep cursor fixed but it isn't working unfortunately, once I move the trackpad the cursor disappears

Hi all, new user here. I just set up for Cutthroats as I saw on this site that dxwnd would solve an issue with it crashing on Win8.1/10. So I get to the main menu, click on the window and the mouse scrolls off to the bottom left and off screen and then I can't get it back. I have tried force cursor clipping and keep cursor fixed but no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Stephen.
