@Angel - it was GCstudioSetup.exe as Anobium mentioned - Just the main green 'Download' button on Sourceforge. Just to clarify, there was two separate 'issues' (if you could call them that). Trapmine - which complains "Suspicious.low.ml.score" as you showed in your link. No idea who Trapmine is, not a big player in the AV area, so not so much of a big deal. Avast Premium Security - Which does not check on VirusTotal, but on my local machine it says it's "FileRepMalware". I searched for what that...

Hi Guys, I suspect it's a false positive, but I when I tried to run the latest setup of GCStudio (the full stuff), Avast Premium Security refused to run it. I updated to the latest Avast again today and it also complained. Ran a custom scan on the GCStudio download and it says it has "FileRepMalware". I searched the forum and last mention was in 2020, so figured I'd bring it up again. On Virustotal the scanning for some of the big name AV's (including Avast) comes up as 'Timeout' - I expect they...

That would be great if you could, as I'd really like to have he updated GCB, even if it's SynWrite (which I've been using up to this point). Could I suggest that at some point if you get a chance, you put mention of the Win 7 (and maybe a link or something to the details) so that others don't have this issue? Thanks

Hi all, I'll firstly just take this opportunity to thank Evan for all the time and effort he puts in to this - amazing. Also of course Hugh for his original work, Angel and all the others that help out for GCB and the forum. I've been trying to find out what versions of Windows that GCBasic will run on - maybe I've missed it, but it's not obvious and searching hasn't helped. Have been running GCBasic 0.98.07 2021-07-24 (Windows 32 bit) : Build 1005 on an old laptop running Vista 32 (no comments please!)...

Just curious, does this 'fix' get updated in the 'Release' straight away, or does it get put in the line to come out with the next release? I don't have any need for it just now, just curious.

Am I missing something? It appears that in some of the code above that PortA.1 is assigned to two different variables, both LED1 and RpmOut. This appears to be when Anobium changed the LED1 variable to suit his test rig, but apparently didn't change the RPMOut, which used the same port. Keith, instead of using the ESC label and the GOTO, have you tried the same example with Do / Loop ? - Just curious

Oops! Files are here sorry - http://www.airspayce.com/mikem/arduino/AccelStepper/AccelStepper-1.61.zip Actually I should have looked more than I did. The other night it was late and I only glanced at the files and saw the size of it and immediately thought it would be too big for me to tackle. Now that I've dug into the files a little, I realise a lot of that size was just comments and it doesn't look quite so bad, but I'd have to look into it further to see if it's something I might be able to tackle....
