Hi, my name is Roberta. First of all I'll give you my best compliments for your project. Personally I would like to create an electronic chessboard that plays with chess programs(Fritz,Chessbase) that interact with the chessboards of Digital Game Technology. I would use an Arduino board to detect the moves on the board and then communicate them with the serial port to the PC.
