Hi, I didn't fully understand how can I watch my script with colors. I saw the DSS syntax files for NotePad++ and EditPlus that you posted to show the OpenDSS scripts. Is it suppose to work immediately ? Thanks, Shay

It really was my first guess, but I cant see anything related to openDSS folder. this is why I am not sure my installation is good. I put the folders myself, by the way. Any advice ?

Hi Paulo , I did see your video. Yet, I couldn't find this folder or any folder "openDSS" in the C:. Also, I didn't success open the notepad++ file (with the colorful commands, after the run simulation you did in 13Bus.EEE Thanks, Shay

Hi Davis, Again thanks. I am not sure I installed it correctly after all. I didn't find any openDSS folder on the C:. So I created one myself and put it in the folder. Also, I cant run anything, I always get the same error "You must create a new circuit object before". Even thought I did or I used the examples like new circuit.IEEE13Nodeckt Thanks, Shay

Hello, Over all the online instructions or the documents like "Getting Started With OpenDSS" I got lost. I'm not sure I fully understand the steps installing openDSS or maybe I do but I still get an error. 1. I put all the 5 program files in the same folder C/openDSS. 2. I also download all the material from https://tortoisesvn.net/ and put it on a diff folder. 3. Than I try to install using OpenDSSInstaller940_4 - But I always get the same error - Unable to register the DLL/OCX: Regsvr32 failed...
