    Worked around it as suggested by setting fcommon as follows sudo CFLAGS="-fcommon" pip install rpi.gpio # or CFLAGS="-fcommon" pip install rpi.gpio RPi 2b running current ArchlinuxARM with gcc (GCC) 10.2.0
