Yeah, SourceForge is getting worse, we will move away from it and only use our GitHub project site.

The SEB application is identical in the new build 3.2.0.338, only the installer bundle changed. Microsoft changed a dependency for the SEB 3.2 installation, so the previous installer fails. The new build 3.2.0.338 is identical to the original release, but installing the WebView2 dependency works again. Your university must accept the new version, tell them the old doesn't work.

Questions like that we cannot answer, just read the manual and try it out (you can easily open several browser windows in SEB and you can configure size and position of the main and of additional windows): https://safeexambrowser.org/macosx/mac_usermanual_en.html#AppearancePane and Browser pane

I would need the quit and admin passwords (if set) to have a proper look at it. Note that we recommend to use the ConfigKey/BrowserExamKey checks with SEB configurations saved "for starting an exam", not with client settings like this. Client settings are not really meant to start an exam session, as they would be stored on the exam device even before the exam and therefore can easier be hacked than exam config files dynamically loaded from a server at the time of the exam.

You would need to check if the student uses SEB 3.2 (as the check for number and internal/external displays only exists in SEB 3.2). In a web application, you can use the browser user agent to check which SEB version is connecting to your server.

Hello, SEB 3.2 for Windows fixes a bug in recognizing prohibited processes. Previous versions confused prohibited processes for macOS and Windows. With 3.2 it should work if you create one configuration file for example with the Mac version with allowed Teams for macOS (deselect the "Active" flag for the Teams prohibited process), then load that same configuration file into the SEB Configuration Tool of SEB 3.2 for Windows, and deactivate the Windows Teams prohibited process, then save this configuration...

Probably that Mac has some software installed which changes network requests. Proxy software changing the URL which SEB receives in requests from the server (so the URL for each request isn't exactly the same on the Mac and on the server) will cause both the ConfigKey and the BrowserExamKey checks to fail. It might help if you can post the configuration file used for the exam.

It's not relevant if the setting is contained in the Moodle generated config file, because SEB uses the default value for any settings which isn't contained in a config file (the default value for enablePrivateClipboard is true). Which SEB version is supposed to be affected? Every SEB version should delete the clipboard when being started, reconfigured and quit. But only the macOS and iOS (when running in secure mode) versions actually implement a private clipboard, which cannot exchange contents...
