CBECC-Res 2022/25 (1359) executables and ruleset source including first operational version of the CUAC Report Combination feature (tic #1386)
Question - If and how to report certain data that will likely/potentially vary across range of runs/reports being combined, including: Run date/time, Software & Compliance version, Tariff date, Street address, Project ID and Draft/Final/Annual report type? Perhaps write into report "<combined report="">" (or something similar) for some/any of these fields that vary across the runs being combined?</combined>
CUAC Reports Combined
Substantial progress - but taking longer than anticipated. UI, defaulting and parsing of Details CSV file complete - more work needed to produce the combined report. Shooting for test version by/before Wed 11/6 and completion in following week.

Updates requested as of check-in call earlier today - (1) add checkbox to the project-level CUAC dialog tab enabling the user to toggle OFF inclusion of DHW in CUAC calcs (similar to that in CBECC @ the Zone level), and (2) add in out for Percent PV System Allocated to the project-level CUAC dialog tab, capped at and defaulting to 100% - enabling user to indicate that only a portion of the PV system described in the Project/PV tab is to be allocated to the CUAC unit/analysis. Once these changes are...
What I believe Danny/CEC is saying above is that users should only see and select in the UI SANCO2 options. This alone says nothing about backward compatibility. I believe we still need full backward compatibility - Users of future CBECC-Res releases need to be able to import prior release models (that may include Sanden references) and those models should be recognized and updated to SANCO2 in the upcoming & future releases. This we covered earlier in our call. Likewise - users in the future should...

Implement Single Family CUAC (Cal. Utility Allowance Calculator)
Initial CUAC functionality checked into SVN @ revs #2462 (5/17) & #2468 (6/4) - - initial complete version requires more testing and does not yet include (a) import of CUAC projects for old MS Acccess databases, (b) Tools menu bar options to open CUAC report PDFs, and (c) possibly offering CUAC analysis for ADU and/or EAA projects Final/complete mods checked into SVN @ rev #2469 (6/14), including - option to import old (Access database) CUAC project data for analysis in CBECC-Res (note: import &...

ruleset mod preventing simulation of ResOtherZn PrkgGarExhFlow & PrkgGarExhFanPwr when SpcFunc NOT one of the 'Parking Garage...' options
revisions to VCHP3 defaulting and CSE input generation (plus activation of more CUAC stuff)
Another question for CEC/Contractors - 4) The CBECC implementation includes a fairly detailed PV allocation to assign fractions of the building PV system to individual dwellings (apartment types). For single dwelling analysis, is it OK to assume that the entire PV/battery system applies to the CUAC analysis? And if Q3 above answer indicates multiple CUAC results (main home + ADU), would we then need a PV allocation mechanism?

VCHP3 Equipment Simulation (based on NEEP statistical model)
VCHP3 Equipment Simulation (based on NEEP statical model)
Questions for CEC/Contractors - 1) Restrict to New Cons & EAA, but not addition alone, since that does not represent an entire home model? 2) Disable CUAC if 'No dwelling unit' checked -or- 'Proj... includes kitchen' is UNchecked on the Analysis tab? 3) Disable CUAC for projects w/ ADUs -or- report a project w/ ADU as a single dwelling unit? (we don't have an effective way to separately meter home vs. ADU unless user separates out zoning and HVAC & DHW systems)
