I am trying to compile Rexx/Curses on Fedora 39 and Debian 12 and 13. The configure works with ../configure --with-rexx=oorexx The make fails with Makefile:77: *** missing separator. Stop. I tried to google the error and only got more confused. I tried using sed to replace the tabs with spaces. No luck Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a complete neophyte when it comes to software dev
I am just curious. ArcOS 5.1 was just released. OS/2 is alive and well. I know the the REXX and Object REXX that shipped Warp 4.5 was different than what was released as open source, but could modern ooRexx be created for OS/2 (ArcaOS) ?

I am not certain. but I believe that IBM dropped REXX EHLLAPI support in newer windows versions of PCOMM. I also have version 14 on Windows 10 and looked for EHLLAPI support and could not find it.
Does anyone know if there was ever a version of ooRexx for older s390 versions of Linux? There are hobbyist groups reviving older IBM S/390 systems and attempting to run older versions of Linux as guests under VM/ESA.
I noticed that rexxgtk.pdf is included with the ooRexx 5 docs. Is it now included with ooRexx or it it still a separate library (Beta) ?
The 2 test scripts attached above were just run with Open Object Rexx Version 5.0.0 r12455 and the client script timed out with a null string, as worked previously on Windows. While I previously received rc 0 on linux for SO_RCVTIMEO, a client that sent a null string would not time out in previous ooRexx versions.
