Done and got the following error message: Failed to activate interfaces : ip addr add dev ens19 failed : RTNETLINK answers: Operation not supported Also ens18 which is IPv4 only applies fine, so I assume the error is happening because ens19 had no IPV4 address like I had with the previous netplan issue as mentioned in the first post. So I think its because ens19 is IPV6 only.

Activated at boot as requested

ubuntu 20.04 and as I said above the Apply button on the main page works as does a manual netplan apply at the console. I also get the same error message when I add an IP and use the SAVE and APPLY button.
