You may take a look at PeaZip. While it seems like it does not run on Mac. But it's written in Lazarus. So technically it may be built on Mac too. It seems like no one did the build yet. It's the same feature-rich as 7-zip. Read more http://www.peazip.org/ The project is also on sf.net: https://sourceforge.net/projects/peazip/ Or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PeaZip
All needed system updates are installed. But I think that some third-party program damages installation of these system DLLs. I thought I could easy to recover this set of system DLLs via installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 20xx Redistributable Package. But I could not. Finally I installed 32-bit version of 7-zip - it works fine (the launching of 7-zip from Chrome does not display gray aread instead of table of files). Thank you for your help!
I have an old program: Dependency Walker. I opened 7zFM.exe with it. See the attached screenshot. So: 1. MSVCRT.DLL is using api-ms-win-core-timezone-l1-1-0.dll and many other api-ms-win-core-.dll DLLs. 2. the strange thing is that I have 64bit version of Windows. And 7-zip is 64bit. So it does not clear why it does show DLLs from system32.
What I did: 1. Uninstalled 7-zip. 2. I was trying to remove C:\Program Files\7-Zip but there was 7-zip.dll in it. So I could not remove it. 3. I restarted computer. I have notifed that folder C:\Program Files\7-Zip was removed. 4. using registry editor I removed HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\7-Zip 5. I installed 7-zip again. 6. In Chrome I did Ctrl+J to see the list of downloaded files. 7. I clicked on a zip file. 8. Again 7-zip was displayed with gray table/grid. So uninstalling and clean install did...
But it I use file manager and go to E:\Downloads and open zip file then 7-zip is displayed OK. See the screenshot.
I want to attach some screenshots to my message. So in Chrome I do Save zip file to E:\Downloads\ Then after downloading in Chrome I press on downloaded icon. And it shows 7-zip with gray area instread of table. See the screenshot.
Hello, I have been using 7-zip for years. I am using Windows 7.1 and 7-Zip 18.03 beta. Normally I download files from web using Chrome then I use click on downloaded file in Chrome's bottom panel of downloads it starts 7-zip. Everything have been worked well for years. So about 2-3 years ago I started to have the error message just right after 7-zip start from Chrome after clicking on downloaded file: api-ms-win-core-timezone-l1-1-0.dll is missing. But then 7-zip was started anyway and it displayed...
