For blu-ray writing, you can simply use growisofs. $ growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/sr0 -dvd-video /some_folder/ "-dvd-compat" permanently closes the disk/session. "-Z" is the device file All other options are mkisofs options. -V "LABEL" is for the media label. As much as I have tried to advocate Gentoo to push cvs/svn/git (eg. -9999 versions) within the past many years, there was a split within the majority a long time ago that thinks Gentoo should not include such packages or ebuild version, as they're only focus is on stability for the end user and not focused upon the developers. Little doe they realize the true power of Gentoo, and the rational for it's founding. Shrugs... Had there been a -9999 version, I would have had time to easily create a patch...

Solomon Peachy: Gentoo's GutenPrint does not include a -9999 version or git/svn/cvs build. It is unlikely I'll be able to easily pull the gutenprint git version, modify & install easily. My Summer agenda is filled, including dealing with an injured cat... so I'll likely not get to testing CMY color! :-( John Stephens: Support for the Selphy 1200 is already within the latest version of GutenPrint.
