Hi franc, Last time we discussed the future of Webchess, it was already clear that a BIG rehaul was urgently needed. Maybe even a complete rewrite. Remember, there was never an official 1.0 release, just a couple of candidates. I understand that you wanted to have a working version, and it's very laudable, but do know that the last version will have a lot of issues on the modern web. If you still want to maintain your fork over at github, I'd advise you to check the standing bugs still open here...

Yup, I'm still around. :) And I agree. With both the CVE request and the fact that it should be fixed regardless. Still don't know when I'll have some time to spare, so I'll leave it without an assigned owner in case someone else wants to grab it.
