Phew! Thanks for confirming. We've gone for setting --squeeze-lines=1, it's not a bad setting anyway.
Note that we do not have --squeeze-lines set in either case; if we do set --squeeze-lines=1 on Windows then the two behave the same way, so it looks as though it is somehow defaulting to 1 in the Linux case? We're OK with having --squeeze-lines=1 set in our configuration file but I'd guess it would be best if the default behaviour on both platforms were the same.
