I thought MicMute stopped working after the Windows 10 Creators update, but then I noticed that my microphone got deselected under the Devices menu. Reselecting it restored functionality. Perhaps this tip will help others.... Better behavior would be to auto select the default OS mic Oh, one more tip: I dislike the black Mic Off icon as it is invisible on black background of task bar... I tweaked my icon to be gray instead.
