With the fresh install, I now have more grids loading then I ever did before. However, its still hit or miss which hours load. I continue to let it run, although correct me if I'm wrong, but the script does not care if its loading the hours in order right? For example it seems that it grabs the hours out of order and not, 01, 02, 03,...24, 25...etc. I'm curious to see if every hour of the NAM will actually load before the script starts looking for the 18Z run. Where does the degrib process take place...

Major Install Issues

Decided to post this error on this ticket as it more appropriate for this ticket. This came up last night and again today.

Things like Maximum temperature are listed under tmax2m or minimum temperature listed under tmin2m. Unless it specifically says surface (some variable), then use 2m for 2 meter. For example they do not provide surface relative humidity so we would want 2 meter relative humidity listed...

I was able to locate the gribnames and the nam218 file. I think the names for stuff like temperature should be changed from T to tmpsfc or rh to rhprs. i found the names for these products from nomads.ncep.noaa.gov:9090/. I would give you the full link but apparently nomads is down tonight. This page also gives information about the deminsions of the grid, etc. i will look more into it when its back online. Luckily most models are free of charge with exceptions being the EURO and maybe one or two others.
