You guys rock! I'll try the handheld release as soon as I can, but for now I just wanted to thank you so much for all the work and effort you are putting into this. Gho, do you have a donation page? I'm a bit strapped for cash this month, but next month I'd like to give you at least a small token of appreciation for what you're doing, especially for a fellow Italian ;)
OK, I tested this and I believe it to be a decent compromise between what I wanted to achieve and what it can be considered playable; I can finally play in a big window compared to the tiny 800x600 I had before, but now I cannot resize it dynamically. But as you wrote, the way the game was coded doesn't make dynamic stretching a simple task. In any case, even with the new settings, the Clothing Factory is not where it should be, as I have only a handful of pixels of space, so to speak, to select...
I finally have screenshots! I'm hoping this makes more sense. Unfortunately, playing without the option that locks the window at 800x600 makes the game unplayable. EDIT: You might need to right click on the broken picture icon and open them in a new tab for them to show up, no idea why...if it doesn't work, these are the direct links: https://imgur.com/gBGtmFb https://imgur.com/LsUyb5I

Yes, that's the version I'm running. I would like to play the game in a window that can be expanded to full screen, or even better that I can resize. Thank you for your work!
I'm currently at work, so I can't upload a copy of the game at the moment, but I should be able to grab a screenshot during one of my breaks. I'm not sure whether there will be a difference in behaviour with the original CD version, though. In any case, you don't need a save file as the tutorial can be accessed immediately in the main menu: just click on the books icon and you should see "load scenario" (or something similar). Press "more" and select the Industry tutorial. Once there, you can see...
Hello, I have been having some problems with Imperialism (from what I could see in the forum, it seems like a pretty hard game to make it behave properly...). I'm using a slightly tweaked version of the import available in the folder (mostly DPI awareness and "Scale fonts", otherwise the game looks horrible and unplayable on a very high DPI screen like my Surface Book). While the game doesn't seem to be crashing or presenting graphical glitches, I noticed one severe problem during one of the tutorials...
No worries, as I said, I know you are busy! Here is the log as you requested. There are some interesting lines related to Smack near the beginning of the file.
