Yea, when I started the installation I didn't really understand about connectors so the message about choosing exactly one connector for a given device didn't make sense at that time. Glad to have it working! On Sun, Jan 10, 2021, 1:40 AM Juha juha-0691@users.sourceforge.net wrote: How do I know if EqualizerAPO is running? Got it working. Did a couple of things. Not sure which fixed it... Uninstalled Peace and included demo.txt in config.txt. Uninstalled all devices in EqualizerAPO, then added one back in. I had two connectors pointing to the same device (Realtek(R) Audio) and had selected both previously. I selected Troubleshoot options with experimental settings. This time, I internalized what the message "please select exactly one installed device with on it's connector name" and I did that using "Speakers". Rebooted....
Other images didn't make it... here the are.
Hi Peter I'm trying to control my audio coming out of a 3.5 mm jack on my motherboard. The windows speaker icon shows it as being "Speakers(RealTek(r) Audio)" and I belive I have the app configured correctly. See images. I got logging working but I'm still not able to get the filters in Peace to change the audio. Also logging seemed to stop after a while. When I include peace.txt in config.txt and save config.txt, I get no log entry. After doing that, when I change a filter in Peace UI, I don't get...
I got the log file working!
Thanks for the suggesting Jaha... Yea, I'm not sure Equalizer APO is actually running. Is it a service? app? I don't see anything installed that looks like one. Is there some process I should see running? I changed config.txt from including peace.txt to demo.txt and saw no log file generated. My registery is setup for tracing as show in attached apo_reg.PNG. I'm not too familar with registry stuff so not sure how to tell if there is a permissions issue. Rob
Hi, I'm having same issue that I've seen in several posts, e.g. filters not working either with Equalizer APO alone or with Peace. I followed most items in post https://sourceforge.net/p/equalizerapo/discussion/general/thread/33aff44485/?limit=25#a8a9/07c1 with no luck. I have windows driver configured to allow enhancements to my RealTek device, installed APO with "experimental" settings. With Spotify playing, I replace "exmple.txt" in config.txt with "demo.txt" and not change in sound. Configured...
