I think if I know correctly, DVD standards don't usually like HD playback (since those are for Bluray Discs and up), I had that issue when I started producing my DVD, but then when I switched back to 480i/p SD, everything went accordingly smooth. Unless you look forward to using a BD Authoring software, DVDStyler is not the way to make HD DVD's.

Download the portable version (that is a .zip file, NOT an .exe file), Then extract the folder somewhere safe (like /home/deck/Documents), Then add it as a Non-Steam game to force compatibility (by selecting DVDStyler.exe) Then when you have added DVDStyler as a Non-Steam game, Go to the "Compatibility" list, then check a box that says "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool", Then select a Stable version of Proton.
