I think the VST plug-ins (these are pro products I've been used at work for editing voice) I am referring to are also really really fast (although as you stated, some of them definitely induce a lot of latency, it really depends on the actual plug-in and its architecture+processing). Even if it was 6ms (which it won't) it would be not an issue for my friends to hear me 6ms after. Nobody would even notice during a normal conversation. If I was to monitor my voice live, then it could be an issue as...

Although you're asking this on the Peace forum I'll try to answer your questions on Equalizer APO. The developer of Equalizer APO isn't very active on his project anyway so you won't get an answer from him. I am so sorry! I had both tabs open for both forums and totally used the wrong one. Facepalm! Thanks for the info, Peter. I am 2x thanking you since this was also the wrong forum. Hold on, facepalming once more time :) I get it now. I haven't used Peace yet, I was just about to install it. Here's...

Hello everyone, I've been a lurker in here and user of Equalizer APO for some time. I've documented myself but could not find a specific answer. I apologize if this was explained and it all comes down to my lack of understanding. 1) Does Equalizer APO add a fixed latency time to the signal (compared to what would happen if Equalizer APO was not installed) even with an empty config file? 2) If yes to the above, does it add a fixed latency only to the device it's installed to, or ALL of them? 3) If...

So in the end also a GSX 1200 and a G6 came by, I am going to be testing both and probably be totally puzzled as to which I like more!

I compared the SOMA test video with SBX natively into the Sound Blaster Command and then against HeSuVi with SBX33 or SBX67. I have to say that they are super close but for some reason the real Sound Blaster Command with SBX set there, surround only, sounds more realistic to me. As if the captured IR have a tiny bit of smearing. This was in both cases always by listening through the same headphones, always the G6 and gain matched. The "real" SBX in the Sound Blater Command 3.4.92.0 sounded better,...

Reter unfortunately I am not that well-versed to know why it is not working for you. I am myself super new to HeSuVi in terms of creating stuff (the "using" it I have a bit better down).

They're coming today, I heard he might be bringing in an X3 as well, which has Super X-Fi instead. I am available to perform any sort of capture or test, just let me know what to do. I'll check this post regularly. I know these algos have been part of HeSuVi for quite a while and there might be nothing you need from me, but I wanted to let you all know just in case, as this has gave me such a great improvement in gaming and production that it would be the least I can do to give something back!
