Hi Mickael, But how can we say that the server's backend is not configured properly if I don't even know how to use my credentials? I have 2 sets of credentials. I have a 2FA app installed that I think I should be using somewhere. I'm puzzled. Which credentials should I use? How do I use the 2FA app? I'm totally lost on what I should be doing... :-( Cheers
Hi Mickael, I downloaded and tried EWSEditor 1.20 from github but it's giving me errors when trying to access the MSX and to be honest I am not sure if it's because the MSX has a locked door for EWS connection or if it's because I don't know how to set it up. I would begin to assume that I should use "Service URL" instead of "Autodiscover email", right? If so, in the Service URL I am supposed to put "https://mycompany.com/ews/exchange.asmx". right? Okay. If so, now how do I login? Do I use the credentials...
This a MS Exchange 2010 SP3. I've tried to open "http://mycompany.com/ews/exchange.asmx" while using the web browser Developer Tools. The website loads the Auth web page, I put my credentials and then I can see that I am redirected to "http://mycompany.com/ews/Services.wsdl" Right at that point I can see a couple of GETs. Maybe it's downloading some kind of session cookie or something. I know this is for security purposes but IT depts really make our lives very difficult. Any ideas on what else I...
Hi Mickael, Sorry for taking so long to answer. I completely forgot I had posted this query here. Yea, I tried to access the URL "http://mycompany.com/ews/Services.wsdl" directly before logging in but the browser doesn't show any content and shows me a "Not Found - The requested URL /ews/Services.wsdl was not found on this server.". I also tried accessing the URL "http://mycompany.com/ews/exchange.asmx" but it redirects me to a login web portal of the company where I can select from several services,...
Hi @mguessan Any comments on my previous message? Thanks mate. Cheers
Hi Mickael, Sorry, I downloaded and tried EWSEditor but I don't understand how to set it up for double signing-in. You know, I need to put the shared mailbox credentials and then I still need to put my own credentials, although I myself don't have my own mailbox in their system. Could you explain me how to do that with EWSEditor, please? I did, however found an online Microsoft tool to test EWS access and it found out that I can access the mailbox and it says it even tries to create a message and...
Hi there, I have a new customer. Their email is hosted by Microsoft and for now I've been accessing their email account using the webmail accessible under "https://outlook.office.com/owa/shared-mailbox@customer-domain.com/". This is not as direct as one would think. I have two logins: shared_mailbox_username - aaaaaa@customer-domain.com shared_mailbox_password - bbbbbb my_username - yyyyyy@customer-domain.com my_password - zzzzzz Bear in mind that "my_username" is not a valid mailbox in the system....
Hi Mickael, Do you mean on a web browser? And by EWS endpoint, do you mean "http://mycompany.com/ews/exchange.asmx" ? If so, when I open that URL on a browser after having authenticated, it changes to "http://mycompany.com/ews/Services.wsdl" and it shows me the contents of an XML file. I don't know if this is the expected behaviour. Could you give me a hint on what I should be trying and what would be the expected result? Thanks in advance. Cheers
