Quick note to day the calendar example on this site was created with pal 3.4 and the current version is 4.3 so something must have happened between versions.

Update: RescueZilla 2.2 (Focal) works from the ISODrive app on my phone. Thanks for the quick fix. My only question still is why would the Groovy version work from the USB stick on this Sony computer, but fail from the ISODrive app? Regardless I now have a working version of 2.2 on my phone. Much appreciated!

Hello, My problem is a little different but still very much related. I didn't want to create a new thread in case it might be best to keep the conversation here. I have loaded both Rescuzilla 2.1.2(Groovy) and 2.2 (Hirsute) in an ISODrive app on my Pixel 3a running Ubuntu Touch OS. This app lets you mount iso images as drives on the phone which can then be plugged into a pc just like a usb stick. I was successful in backing up my Sony Vaio (vgn-ns130d) laptop using Rescuezilla 2.1.2 from the app,...

Thanks for your response. Sounds like setting up a Rescuezilla for ARM-based boards is not really a short-term priority. No problem. I already do regular image backups by pulling out the SD cards and making back up images via a separate desktop environment. I guess I will keep doing that. I'll do some more research and figure out if there are any other ways of making full-disk image backups remotely. I'll let you know if I find anything that might be worth considering as a new feature in Rescuezilla...

Hi, again I am running two raspberry pi servers in my office and I was wondering if Rescuezilla has any remote VNC capabilities. These little servers are up on a shelf in my closet and to unplug all their cables and take them down to add a monitor, mouse and keyboard would be a big pain. I have them setup with their USB ports easily accessible so I was hoping I could simply slip in my Rescuezilla thumb drive and remote view the backup process. I did a quick search around this site (but not the project's...

If anyone found this discussion because they are trying to figure out how to set up a bi-weekly event in pal, this is how got it to work: EX: a meeting @ 11am every other Thursday, the date structure (formatting?) would look like this: THU/2:startDate:endDate Substitute the date with any of pal's date commands to suit (SUN,MON,TUE,WED,THU,FRI,SAT) I do not think this is possible when in pal, but I use this command in my terminal to add it to my calendar: $ echo 'date-details pal-event-description'...
