Thanks for the info. That software has so much configuration for someone who really understands all that stuff. It is really overwhelming in how to use all the parameters. Fortunately , I learnt just enough to be able to get some usable subtitles most of the time. Sometimes it is a problem with the conversion from cleared text to OCR software. But sometimes I get some really crazy OCR. I have 2 very short video clips Short.mp4 and snippet.avi. The cleared test image subtitle from short.mp4 looks perfect. Snippet.avi subtitles are not as clear and the cleared test image is very inaccurate. Don't know if I can do any better. I made a small video snippet. There are three different subtitle lines in the video.
