Over the years, we've had a large number of bot developers come and go, contributing their bots for use in SD. However, none of them are actively involved in development of the project any more, and I feel actively maintaining car setups and support for many of their codebases is just extra busywork. As long as this project is using SVN, mail lists and partially SourceForge it will continue to be unattractive to most of the developer community.
