yes, i was able to use the -f filter to recover only two folders. unfortunately now openmediavault refuses to start. I see errors during startup but they disappear before i can read them. Logs are outdated because the root filesystem mounts as read only. But this is not a snapraid issue.
So last night i discovered that one of my older 3tb drives had dropped out. I shut down the system and removed the drive. hooked it up to my laptop running ubuntu to try to see if it was recoverable. It read as no filesystem on it, but i was also unable to create a new filesystem and the operation timed out. The drive seems dead. I had a spare 2tb drive and thought it may be big enough, but after the fix job it stopped with a write error and sure enough its full. So my question is as some of the...
