Thanks- I do not have "Two-channel auto-type obfuscation" enabled for this, and as far as I know, any entry. I looked for an export format that would allow me to check that last assertion - but came up empty. I like the idea of Two-Channel Auto-Type Obfuscation, but never tried it. I've not made good notes on this yet, but is seems I have seen what looked like FireFox trying to load an entirely different page (and failing) a few times. I can't yet be any more specific than that but it seemed an odd...
That's a cool feature I wasn't aware of. A real boon for debugging. THANKS! (especially for the specifics on enabling it) I sometimes test by clicking in a text editor window and running Auto-Type. The feature allows one to test the most common configurations quickly.
Perhaps I should add that drag and drop doesn't work either.
Since making FireFox my default browser, I seem to have issues on several websites with autotype. The User Name is correct, but it appears the password (or the Enter) seemed to get munged. The only work-around I've found is to double-click the password (copy) and paste it manually into the password field. Today it was a Lowe's/Synchrony (credit card) site. https://www.synchrony.com Is this a known issue? Thanks, Bob I see a warning that I have 6 tries to get it right...
Thought a picture might be useful - should someone else run into it...
Thanks Paul- I noticed this morning what happened. I have 2 display. Everything KeePass was on the main screen except for the recent list. I had the second monitor off... Doh! ;-) The main KeePass window was adjacent to the 2nd display and I think some of the paths (I have one scp-based) are long so that recent dropdown was completely on the 2nd (off) display. (Not unreasonable behavior)
Recently I when I follow this path , "File --> Synchronize --> Recent Files" the list has been empty. I have a list of 4 places I synch periodically, but I'm having to use a separate list to do what "Recent Files" handled nicely. I just synched to all locations, but the list is still empty. Any thoughts?? Never realized how much I depend on the feature. I'm running v 2.58 (64-bit) under Windows 11 home. Thanks!!
Early indications are you are exactly correct Paul; I had added a trigger a while back for backup and had forgotten as it seemed to be working for a time. But disabling it allowed me to synch cleanly. THANKS! It's an interesting feature with a paradigm I didn't immediately grasp! More tinkering as time allows...
