Hi, In GUI version, When I specify the target archive name, if the archive name has a dot, the file format is changed. For example, when i type the target file name to "MyPhotos.2023", The target file format will chenged to ". 2023" instead ". 7z" Thanks.

This feature is very good for websites, but I don't think it is a good option for file archivers. Because 7-Zip has to prepare a very long list of forbidden words that needs to be updated every day, which requires an Internet connection. It's better that file archivers be offline.

Thank you, But i'm using GUI version. Now i can remove all additional data except file attributes. is possible that 7-Zip does not archive attributes in GUI version?

(Raw and Null) I want to archive my files without any additional data (only file's "zeros and ones"+file names+related directory path) like KGB Archiver 1.2.1.24 software. NO file creation time NO file modification time NO file last access time NO hidden NO read only NO NTFS status NO file summary NO any other data Fortunately, in new versions i can remove file creation and file access but i can't remove the file...

Hi Igor, Sorry to ask again. I still don't know what those eight additional characters are after the hash value. I looked in the discussions but did not see anything. What do you mean by "Arithmetic sum value"? Are those eight characters related to the number of files or the number of data blocks or something else? If I ignore those eight characters, will there be a problem to confirm the correctness of the data? I will be happy to explain more because those characters have turned into my enemy....
