You're right, it's EXTREMELY slow with this file in place. What it did on my PC was disable the colour key entirely so no transparencies are being shown. FYI I tried every single fix in every single thread so far and nothing has changed. Besides having knowledge on modifying assembly code I don't have a lot of programming experience but if I can help with debugging...I'd love to get this game working.

I created a text file called dxwnd.keys.txt, copied and pasted 0x7FF,0x7FF into the file and saved it. The results you shared earlier are not showing up. FYI I downloaded 2.05.80 and overwrote it with your files. SetColorKey: lpdds=0xb21faa8 flags=0x8(DDCKEY_SRCBLT) colors=(L:0x7ff,H:0x7ff) SetColorKey: FILTERCOLORKEY ret=DD_OK SetTexture(D3D7): d3dd=0x8c55ac0 flags=0 tex=0xfea6258 SetTexture(D3D7): d3dd=0x8c55ac0 flags=0 tex=0x43eda20 Blt(7): dest=0xfea5ab8(3DREF) src=0x43e4850(BACK) dwFlags=0x1000000(DDBLT_WAIT)...

The game uses different texture files for Software Mode and Hardware Mode. Hence purple tyre issue might not appear in SW mode. Just an interesting thing to note - I managed to get GP3 running in HW Mode using my 3070 TI. There are no DXWND or dgvoodoo files in the GP3 folder. The same transparency issues are present! So whatever this is, I presume it is caused by Nvidia's drivers. Just speaking garbage about a subject I know nothing about, but is it possible to add some extra software layer so that...

Interestingly this was exactly the same thing I suggested here 6 months earlier :D https://sourceforge.net/p/dxwnd/discussion/general/thread/387c8b9c88/#f3b7 I will test gho's DLL later.
