Given that I didn't even start this thread, that's a little harsh, but I take your point and your good advice, for which many thanks. Maybe the owners of that page could make the options a little more explicit. Whether that's Sourceforge or the 7-Zip team I wouldn't know - I'm just a user of Sourceforge, not a developer.

Well, there is a "download latest now" button which seems to be the obvious one to click on. :)

Eh? The 7Zip main page just has a button to press to download it. I see no "info" button! See attached screenshot.

I need this feature, so it would be great, Dan, if you could remember what the drawbacks are so I'm forewarned.

Here's another MWE. This gives mis-directed force messages without the staff going into the margins. As with Jean's example, it makes no difference if \grace, \appoggiatura or \acciaccatura are used. But it does make a difference if the staff size is changed. This example gives different numbers of errors if the staff size is 14, 18, 21 or 25, but no errors with other values in tis range.
