Hi Paul, It is from SonicWall. When I spoke with tech support yesterday I was advised their system is using an algorithm to confirm adequate password length and complexity but also comparing the proposed password to a database of known bad passwords. No comment from support as to how they populated that database. I'm using KP 2.30 with the password automatically generated for new entries option, 20 characters, upper, lower & digits. Do others have experience with KeePass password generator generating password which results in error from major security vendor system 'This password is publicly available in hacking/security forums and easily compromised. Please use a different password'. If the password is truly random how would the vendor match it to an internal database? Thanks, Peter
