    O. M. F. G. I . . . am . . . an . . . .idiot. It was indeed user error. I was transposing a letter for a number the whole time. Pretty sure I'm getting early onset dementia.     Using 2.x. "The composite key is invalid" message was the only one I got during my attempts to open the database yesterday. Just shut down KeePass and tried to restart - not working again. Won't accept password. Tried shutting PC down and doing a hard reboot - again not working. Tried unplugging the USB from the PC and plugging it back in, restarting the program - no luck. Very odd. Likely user error somewhere here I'll keep working at it here. Thanks again for the help - it is appreciated.

I just opened the database using the correct password that had failed several times yesterday. Yesterday, I needed to move the USB drive containing the mobile KeePass program and database to another computer, so I went through the "eject media" process in Windows 10, and plugged the USB into the other PC - that's when the database...

    Semi thread hijack but still on topic: Is there any way to tell if the database has been corrupted? I'm now having a similar issue to Romi (correct password will not open database). I ran the Repair Mode option. It took the password for the imported database, but just imported an empty folder.
