Hi @erich_st ... Yes .. my question was indeed related with ooRexx 4.2; at the time I didn't notice that there was work going on v5). Great news I should say. Meanwhile I got the Centos 7 rpm package and installed on my CentoOS 8.2 machine and from a brief test Rexx seems to be working fine even being a beta. Just had to manually install one required package that is ncurses-compat-libs (the rpm should have been built in a way that the referred package is automatically installed as a dependency)....

Hi ... Just to let you know that I've sucessfully built from source on Centos 8.2 using the oorexx-5.0-113.2.src.rpm file (no modifications done). Let me know if you want the ooRexx packages for EL8 that I've just built. Cheers !
