Yes the v17 folder has approx 200+ files. 1st file name v17_1014.290 file type 290 last file name v17_1801.290 same file type. I have installed ASTAP and the v17 database when i try to plate solve a get an error msg "No star database found at c:\program files\astap!" Down load ..I have a sub directory under program files\astap called v17. Soory for the rookie ? but what am i doing wrong.. under alignment star data base used i've tried auto, full path and v17and get the same error msg. thanks for your help.
