Update: I got it working. My trick only works with the installed version of MediaInfo (not the Portable) presumably because MediaInfo_Infotip.dll is not registered (regsrv32) properly with the portable installation. (When I tried to register the .dll from the portable app manually, I got a message from Windows saying that the file wasn't compatible with Windows.) Interestingly, although I only did the trick for an .mp4 file, the Tooltip is also showing on .mkv's. Presumably all media now. FWIW, I...
