creating on desktop (with name test) didnt work. But i managed to create the file test.si4 at C:\ . I don't unsterstand why it is feasible this way. Now at Scid vs Pc i open this database file but the only way to import pgn games at this database is either Edit->paste pgn(->import) and then at the tab Game->add game Or Tools->import pgn text and again Game->add game. In the following ''True type fonts (PGN figurines) disabled.'' are appeared red coloured in contrast to the else which are in black (don't know if it helps). Hi, I am trying to create my database at Scid vs Pc via file->new . When i try to save my named new file i get this message ''Error creating index file''. Any ideas how to fix the problem to create a database? Thanks in advance
