I agree with @baudinr — the effort seems to be huge. And when editing equations, sending a screenshot to an AI and asking it to modify the equation seems like a good enough solution (it is, in fact, my use case). Personally, I almost don't need this kind of feature. For me, LO<->MSO interoperability is more important, as well as, e.g., displaying SVG equations with embedded text (so that the user can select and copy the SVG equation / output content). With the same config as above. It works using \usepackage{luatexja} with the default preamble, but the rebuilt formula is not the same as shown in the attached image below. Do I need any other packages to compile the formula correctly?
