Yes, this is the point. Could be nice to have an intermediate possibility to let gmail read the file extensions only. Something like files are visible with random filenames or just file1, file2, ... Or the archive could disguise it includes a single txt file.

Hi All, even if not strictly related to 7-zip development, I'd like to report an issue I experienced with Gmail. I use Thunderbird as client. I tried to send an email with a 7z file in attachment. Mail was blocked by the SMTP server (smtp.googlemail.com) and Thunderbird displayed an error.
