It's been awhile and KeePass has been working well, although in the past few weeks it's begun crashing when I've changed virtual desktops. That was after updating to v2.57 in August. My workaround there was to minimize KeePass to the taskbar before changing desktops. The time came for moving up from UbuntuStudio 22.04 LTS to the latest 24.04.1 LTS and what did I find? It ships with an old version of KeePass2, version 2.47. I used info from earlier in this thread to make and save an enforced.config...

Thanks - I'll go with that.
That was it, Dominik. You just beat me to it. I changed back to 2.55 and found I had the same minimize happening. I removed the 'Drop to background ...' and that fixed it. In practical use, I had never used that context menu. I always use the url to open in Firefox and then open the password entry and copy and paste into the browser page because many sites need more than the password and I store those extra details in the notes. I expect the one crash I had when testing the snapshot was just something...
No, Dominik. The only minimize setting ticked is' Minimize main window after locking the workspace'.
I'm Using UbuntuStudio 2204 LTS with KDE Plasma but using X server rather than Wayland. I don't have any plugins installed for KeePass. I've done a bit more testing and it's only the first five elements of the drop-down list which comes from right-clicking an entry which systematically cause minimization : Copy user name, Copy password, URLs, Other data, Perform Auto-Type. For the URLs, Open works ok but Copy causes minimization. They cause the same minimization that I get when clicking on the Minimize...
It took me 20 minutes and many attempts to post the above message - every time I got a red message about spambot being activated. What causes that?
