Yes, this export file appears to be working. Thank you!
Hello, I just noticed that Patrician 3 doesn't work any more, since around version 2.05.22 - that means with 20 it still works and with 22 and newer it doesn't - I haven't checked 21. With the newer versions, the game just starts normally when launched from DxWnd, not in a window. I'm playing the GOG version, with a German Language Pack and a patched exe for 1080p resolution, but the same happens with the original exe.

Alright. I will keep it at 1280x720 then, with the widescreen patch, as this gave me the best results. Thank you for your help! edit: I just discovered that I can actually use Open Broadcaster Studio to live stream the game from a DxWnd window on my second screen to my main screen, where it can be scaled without these issues. The only problem is the taskbar keeps popping up in front of the stream because the focus lies on the game window. Although I can temporarily move it to the second screen as...

But the resolution can't be changed in the game itself... There is an external configuration tool to change the resolution. How could DxWnd affect that? Maybe I just don't understand what you mean exactly. I've tried the settings you described, but no change.
But then the game still uses it's standard resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. I can change the window size in DxWnd, of course, but the "custom resolution" doesn't change anything in the game itself, at least not for me. It will still be either 800x600 or 1024x768, just scaled or stretched, depending on the window settings. And the original problem still exists. with these settings. I could patch it to 1920x1080, of course, but then everything gets too small, so I would like to use a lower resolution....
