In "7z2408-extra.7z" the "arm64" subfolder includes a "7-ZipFar.dll" that I don't recall seeing in previous "extras" releases. I assume this file is supposed to provide the same functionality as "7-ZipFar64.dll" in the "Far" subfolder? However while the byte counts are similar they are completely different files internally... Edit: Sorry, please ignore, I misread "arm64" as "amd64", which explains a few other things that looked strange to me but probably aren't, as I'm not on ARM architecture. D...

I suspected that this might be an issue with .NET or Windows itself, thanks for confirming that. At least the issue (and Paul's suggested workaround above) is now documented here in case someone else trips over it. Thanks Dominik (and Paul).
