Dmitry, that's exactly what Max is saying. He mentions that he knows that Sleep Mode is not saving data encrypted at rest, so they are now forced to use shutdown instead. They are talking about exactly the same problem that this thread is about.

Hi, I also have exactly the same problem. Same configuration, same symptoms - when starting the system, it first tries to resume from hibernation, then it crashes to black, a full cold reboot happens and after entering the VeraCrypt password again, the computer boots into a fresh state with hibernation data lost.
