    -t type Select the backingstore for the virtual disk. vm Storage for this type of virtual disk is allocated from virtual memory in the system process. If a file is specified with -f that file is is loaded into the memory allocated for the disk image. Unfortunately no one ever provided the command-line switches for creating a dynamic RAM drive, and I can't find them cited anywhere Well, allow me to fill this void! :) 'aim_ll.exe -a -t vm -s 500M -m I: -p "/fs:ntfs /q /y"' Find attached two AHK v2 scripts (one you can run and see a MSG appear to alert you to the status of the automation), and an .XML file (modifications will be necessary to all scripts) that you can add to Task Scheduler...

    Using the latest version as of 2026-07-16, I have the "Launch at Windows Startup" checked [ screenshot ], and the window shows it as checked when I launch "RamDiskUI.exe". This does not show up in any 'startup' location, nor does it launch at Windows' login. I am hoping there is some command-line argument that I can add to Task Scheduler. Please advise.
