thank your for replying. i am on a slow connection therefore sending files is a problem. now here is a little update: the trouble with false interpretation of fps might be caused by an update of avidemux (the tool i use for trimming), not ssr nor mediainfo. i found out that by trimming the end of mkvs (on/off iframes) a second time (after they were processed already), the framerate will correctly show 60.000fps in every software. so for now, i guess i just need to process mkvs twice...?

hello, most recently, i found out that the reported framerate of my simple screen recordings (mkv, 60fps, h.264) are interpreted differently, depending on the used software. while mediainfo 19.04 shows a framerate of 60.119 fps (original) and 62.500 (trimmed/exported avidemux), avidemux 2.7.3 file properties states a value of 62.500 fps (original) 60.000 (trimmed). mpv on the other hand, is reporting 62.500 (specified) and 60.000 (estimated) on trimmed mkvs. there is old ssr mkv recordings of mine,...
