when you work with images......do target disk ( when you are restoring image) have to be same size as source disk( from where images created ) ? i know disk to disk cloaning requires same but wasn't sure about saving/restoring images.

There are some things that not clarified on clonezilla websites. and these things creates issues later when we go on trying to use Clonezilla. i would request developers to put these things up or guide me if i missed to notice them. 1) not mentinoed anywhere that disk to disk requires same size of disks 2) same as 1st but this for saving image. source and target disks has to be same or not 3) mbr or guid GPT. that disks has ot be of same type

is it possible to save image of hard drive (windows 7) to another disk's partition ? i created special partiion to save images. i created folder called "windowsimages" so i can save it there but when i selected it while in clonezilla it showed me just one folder to select which was "recyble bin". not sure why it didn't showed me the folder i created, please guide me on that.
we have multiple syspreped disks containing images of individual model computers. we would like to back these images up to a desktop computer. i have created new partition called "E" drive where i would like save all iamges. also if possible we like to deploy these images to new computer. please guide us on this.
