Hi. For years Launch has worked perfectly for me. Recently, i have made no changes to Launchy and I have had Windows11 installed since it was launched. A couple of days ago, installed the new Arc browser. Launchy will not launch it. I had an Arc start icon on the desktop created during installation. I also had created a shortcut and put it in a special file I use [990 FindMeDocs], located at E:\990 FindMeDocs, to help Launchy find files I might want to open. Both are ignored. the Launchy Directories...

Yes. I found that after posting. It isn't exactly what I'd wanted but it's mre than sufficient to meet the need. Thanks
As I use Launchy to open everything, I have it in my Startup folder. However, that means that the first thing I almost always have to do after startup is minimise Launchy. You know how lazy IT users are. Every unnecessary click is a loathsome burdon :-) So, any chance that a "Minimise on Startup" option could be added so that Launchy was BOTH added to Startup and caused to be minimised when it first opened during startup? This might even be better as a two-option addition: "Open on Startup" [this...
Launchy doesn't find Whatsapp for Desktop
Hi Chris. Sorry about that! OK. So I opened Freemind (1.0.1). Then I went to the "recent files" and opened the .mm file, "Epiphytes.mm". It found the file and opened it. I got no error message. I did get a warning that my .mm file was of an old format. The only way to continue was to accept reformatting. I was then able to edit the file. HOWEVER, I was NOT able to save (overwrite) the file using the same name as the old .mm file (and I forgot to check what the reason for the failure was!). I then...
Thanks Chris. Log File attached.
Hi. I have just 1 mindmap (the .mm file, managed on a Win10 system). When I openit either directly or by opening the Freemind app (that automatically finds and opens the .mm file) it fails to open. The error message is "Locking of the map Epiphytes.mm failed. Opening as read-only. Clearly I want to be able to edit my map but I cannot find a way to avoid his error. There is an associated file, named $~Epiphytes.mm~ (obviously the working file until save or close it selected, always created in the...

Hi. I just downloaded Freemind (about a day ago). It's too early to say too much but I am impressed and it looks great so far. I don't actually use it for mindmapping; my use is to simply present facts visually and in an ordered manner suited to mapping. So far, Freemind seems useful. I do have one suggestion. In my particular use, I want to format every node so want them all to be "Long Nodes". However, i have to individually assign each node the Long Node status. Two possibilities exist to make...
