Gotcha. I have used the second method, the "advanced way" . The new NPC has been committed. Let me know if there's anything else that needs to be done.
Alright, so, after some days working on it, instead of leading to the development of a quest, i actually created an NPC located in Semos Village that will explain the basics about combat in Stendhal to the new player. So, should i get on commiting my changes , after ive thorough tested that he works as intended? And if yes, how should i go on about commiting? Thanks a lot for your time!
I would mostly be interested in something simple like creating a quest , for now, as it is well-documented on the Wiki. Though the tickets you mentioned seem interesting, i might try to tackle the one with Harold the merchant.

[Stendhal] Multiple sound files not found at client startup
Hello everyone! After browsing through the project, i've begun to be greatly interested in it, and would like to contribute some code to it,reason being that i have a project concerning Open-Source programs for University. I would especially be interested in contributing to Stendhal. Any pointers to where i should head to see any available things that i could contribute towards? Thanks a lot for your time!
