I found this post because I have a lamp (HP Scanjet TMA C9911B; TMA=Transparent Material Adapter) from an old broken scanner. It seems is possible with Xsane, but not sure if NAPS2 let me scan with its light off, with any scanner. The light would come from an outside independent source, in my case this HP TMA. Windows focus issue with 3D view on separated window
Revert Home instead of _is already open_
Dorin's v1.3 of the plugin fix the issue with polylines not rotated. I only found three things not rotated: Background image of the plan (at different levels) had wrong offset (xOrigin, yOrigin on Home.xml). North direction angle 3D Dimensions created with Dimensions line 3D v3.2 plugin.
Thanks Dorin!! Now polylines are also rotated, everything but the background image, the compass north direction and 3D dimensions (more below). I was able to change the image position (xOrigin yOrigin on Home.xml) by increasing the position size in the wizard beyond the limits you would had just dragging the dot around. I use some plugins (Pan in 3D view, Rename the furniture by rooms, Wirings, etc.). One of them is Dimension lines 3D. At least with 3D lines/dimensions created with v3.2 are not rotated...

Toggle level visibility faster with middle-click on tab
On a better look,, is not clear the license of Freetone, all the colors have the author name, and some colors are duplicated (same RGB). Until this issues are solved probably this feature request should be ignored.
Add freetone support
Polylines are not rotated. I filed this bug report.
Home Rotator Plugin (AKA Plan Rotator) doesn't rotate polylines
Toggle arrow when expanding fourniture group on list (🞂 ↔ 🞃)

In my case was this classic issue.
The file is there, maybe the issue is that it have accentuated letters encoded in UTF-8. Please tell me if you were able to reproduce the issue and if there is anything else I can do. Create2DSymbols.sh take symbol names from the filenames. I never had any issues with filenames on ZIP, probably always using EPS flag.
In that case this Color Temperature (K) to RGB (sRGB) table come handy: ■2000K → #FF8A12 (255, 138, 18) ■2500K → #FFA148 (255, 161, 72) ■3000K → #FFB46B (255, 180, 107) ■3500K → #FFC489 (255, 196, 137) ■4000K → #FFD1A3 (255, 209, 163) ■4500K → #FFDBBA (255, 219, 186) ■5000K → #FFE4CE (255, 228, 206) ■5500K → #FFECE0 (255, 236, 224) ■6000K → #FFF3EF (255, 243, 239) ■6500K → #FFF9FD (255, 249, 253) ■7000K → #F5F3FF (245, 243, 255) ■7500K → #EBEEFF (235, 238, 255) ■8000K → #E3E9FF (227,...
My setup has everything in English and UTF-8. The only words in Spanish (and with diacritics) are the filenames, which are processed by /Create2DSymbols.sh to build the furniture library. I added the -encoding UTF-8 to my native2ascii inside Create2DSymbols.sh but stills show the red cross and the text mangled. Could be something else? Once I have native2ascii (openjdk-8-jdk-headless package) I follow these steps to reproduce the issue: git clone https://github.com/pabloab/Symbols-electrical-ar.git...

Right now, SH3D let you change the light power. What would great is to be able to change the other main property of a light bulb: the color temperature. Not sure if open a new ticket or this is the appropriate.
You can elevate a spotlight to have a similar effect. In relation to the color temperature, this is the more related issue I could find.

Maybe no essential on a usual static website, but on a login/activation page https should be mandatory. Usually is very easy and free with Let's encrypt and certbot.
I tweaked Create2DSymbols.sh to use native2ascii, but the problem persists (still get those Ã-). $ ls -1 "plan/Boca de luz vigÃa.png" "originals/Boca de luz vigÃa.png" 'originals/Boca de luz vigÃa.png' 'plan/Boca de luz vigÃa.png' $ file PluginFurnitureCatalog.properties PluginFurnitureCatalog.properties: ASCII text Portion of PluginFurnitureCatalog.properties: id#3=2DSymbol#Boca de luz vig\u00eda name#3=Boca de luz vig\u00eda category#3=Symbols electrical AR icon#3=/catalog/Boca de luz vig\u00eda.png...
Is mandatory? This suggest is configurable. file detect PluginFurnitureCatalog.properties encoding correctly. Maybe SH3D could handle this file being in UTF-8. Furniture libraries created with the current Create2DSymbols.sh creates PluginFurnitureCatalog.properties on UTF-8. Meanwhile I'll add the use of native2ascii on my fork, but needs the heavy openjdk-8-jdk-headless package.

SH3D not displaying unicode characters from filenames after importing from furniture library
Thanks! 😃 @dorin47 Would be awesome, but I'm unsure how to do it. Please fell free to file an issue or send a PR to my repo. @puybaret Screenshot added, and instructions to get last version from GitHub. I don't know which catalog do you mean. I searched here, here and here. BTW, it seems there is a bug on SH3D, I can't use diacritics (áéÃóúñ on Spanish, I had to search with ls -1 | grep -i "[áéÃóúñ]").
Based on German @albrechtl I build a library for Argentinian electric symbols (IRAM 2010, based on IEC 117-1, Kind of current, distribution systems, methods of connection and circuit elements and DIN 40710/40712). Very similar to all the others. Sources and last version. Attached is the first version, to get the last one: git clone https://github.com/pabloab/Symbols-electrical-ar.git cd Symbols-electrical-ar ./Create2DSymbols.sh cp ../Symbols-electrical-ar.sh3f ~/.eteks/sweethome3d/furniture/

I'm not familiar with Java to do this, even less inside Flatpak. Meanwhile, on this particular case a workaround to use the light theme only on this app would be to run something like: flatpak override --user --env=GTK_THEME=arc-light com.sweethome3d.Sweethome3d # Disable just for this app
AFAIK SH3D uses Swing, maybe using FlatLaf?
@puybaret stock SweetHome3D don't need (and won't in the near future) network access? SH3D flatpak maintainer is not very interested in granting network access just for SH3D plugins.
I'm already using v1.5.2. As soon as I granted network access to the flatpak (my Solution message above), Plugin manager update itself and all the others :-) BTW, thank you for your time and beautiful work.

SH3D doesn't work with system dark theme
@puybaret I sadly recently noticed you are not related to the flatpak bundle, the nowadays most popular way to distribute apps on Linux. I'll file an issue there. For anyone with this issue, GUI way would be to enable network access on Flatseal. On CLI: flatpak override --user --share=network com.sweethome3d.Sweethome3d. @daniels118 If network access is not granted, the error doesn't show up every time SH3D start; only when running the plugin under Tools menu. The UnknownHostException are visible...
I mention an issue related to plugins on bug 1177
Solution: Should be documented that on Flatpak bundle, in order to work, network permission (share=network) should be granted.
It partially works: On the first run, I was asked about the update periodicity of one of those plugins, though. Copying *.sh3p to ~/.eteks/sweethome3d/plugins result on the same behavior.
It seems doesn't 't work on SH3D Flatpak edition (now on v7.0.2, tried on Pop! OS 22.04). I downloaded PluginManager-1.0.sh3p, Pan3dView.sh3p and Wirings-1.0.sh3p and trying to install them with something likeflatpak run com.sweethome3d.Sweethome3d PluginManager-1.0.sh3p. I get some errors related to (full example attached): java.lang.NullPointerException ... java.net.UnknownHostException: daniels118.altervista.org ... In that case Flatseal could help.
Well, I don't know why is showing as a broken link the GIF/screencast. Seems another bug of sourceforge (why don't move to Github or Gitlab!?). The link is working: https://i.imgur.com/JVPWIcA.gifv.
Unexpected display behavior when less than 80 columns
Where I can find the latest version on .deb form? Seems related only to widthI attached two images: First one splitting screen horizontally. The text is wrongly wrapped. But if I split on one of both panes vertically now all of them work right. PS: I suggest put here an advice for people move to Github project.
