Oh wow, yup. That did it. I must've inadvertently changed the filename to the one thing I should not have when I downloaded it. In the end it usually is something simple like this... Thanks for helping out! :) PS: in my defense Task Manager was displaying a lengthier name: "Setup tool for Peace 1.6.9.11", so 'peace.exe' did not strike out :)

Attached a recording of what happens when I delete Peace.exe Teaser: the plot thickens... I didn't include a screenshot of that request from the 1.5 installer. I'd have to reinstall for that. I don't mind doing that, lmk if you think it'd help. Although as you can see from the video i won't be able to do that with the 1.6 installer, but the 1.5 one would probably work.
Thanks for replying - I really appreciate your app! Peace was definitely not minimized in my tray. The only Peace process I saw running in task manager was the 1.6.9.11 installer. C:\Program Files\EqualizerAPO path was entirely cleared out by the reset, so I didn't have any Peace files remaining there. I don't have Peace starting with Windows per se, but my configurations do stick and work without having to launch Peace. Btw when I launch the 1.6 installer now after installing 1.5 through that version's...

Hi I hope this is an appropriate enough thread to report an issue I'm having.. I'm trying to reinstall Peace after I had to reset Windows 11 due to a recent feature update breaking other parts of my OS (typical of Windows updates in my experience). However after the reset I'm now having a weird issue with Peace. I downloaded the latest installer (version 1.6.9.11) and used it to install Equalizer APO, but it's not allowing me to install the Peace GUI. It says I need to close Peace before it can be...
